One Thing Follows Another is a boundary-crossing collection of ten experimental-poetic essays that explore the work of dancer-choreographers Yvonne Rainer and Simone Forti. Through innovative forms and techniques, the authors deconstruct the essay form to examine what they as poets can contribute to the conversation about these pivotal figures in postmodern performance art.
About the Artists
Sarah Rosenthal is the author of Estelle Meaning Star, Lizard, Manhatten, and two collaborative books. Her collaborative film We Agree on the Sun has received numerous accolades.
Valerie Witte is the author of A Rupture in the Interiors and a game of correspondence, and a founding member of the Bay Area Correspondence School.
