Epicrisis

by Diana Martínez Tancredi

Textile artist’s book, unique piece. Through sutures and embroidery, the work intertwines memory, pain, and affection as a tactile form of storytelling created during a prolonged process of physical and emotional recovery following brain tumor surgery. The wounded body finds in fabric a means to resist, reorganize itself, and speak.

About the Artist

She holds a BA in Advertising from Universidad Alejandro de Humboldt (2008) and a Technical Degree in Cinematography with a specialization in Film Scenography and Costume Design from Universidad del Cine (2017).
