About the Artist

Leena Aboutaleb is an Egyptian and Palestinian writer who asks you to commit to the Palestinian liberation struggle. Her pamphlet, Expeditions of Projection, was released in 2023 (VIBE). She is a Brooklyn Poets fellow, a Kundiman fellow and Tin House scholar.

Youssef ElNahas is an Egyptian artist based in Britain. His work with the lens, on the page, and in the archive is driven by a need to document the world around and within him. Inspired by Mediterranean landscapes and historical narratives, recurring themes in his practice include identity and immigration, dialogues between the past and the present, and exploration of human interactions with nature.
