About the Artist
Sarah Tremlett is a prizewinning, British poetry filmmaker, poet, artist and theorist. She is author of ‘the groundbreaking industry bible The Poetics of Poetry Film, (Intellect, 2021) available in over 650 academic libraries alone, worldwide. She is editor of Liberated Words and founded the Frame to Frames : Your Eyes Follow ekphrastic poetry film prize and bilingual poetry + films anthology. Sarah is also the author of Horse-Woman, (Basic Bruegel, 2025) a poetic ‘otherkin’ traumatic but healing memoir, that includes her early paintings, created whilst working as a fashion model and living in 1970s London bedsit land.
