This triptych plays on polysemy and repetition to simultaneously address the encounters that unsettle us, impact us, and change us, as well as the chemical exchanges that take place in a polluted environment.

About the Artist

Maud Nivet (1999, France) is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in movement in its broadest sense.Originating from the field of hand-drawn 2D animation, they have evolved towards experimental practices at the intersection of film, drawing, installation, poetry, and performance.Maud lived in Nicosia from 2020 to 2022, where they participated in various performance projects with Arianna Economou, co-directed the short film In the City of Dust with Haris Pellapaisiotis (awarded at Animafest Cyprus 2023), and presented a seriesof drawings at the Phaneromenis 70 gallery as part of the Delivering View #77 project, curated by Kyriaki Costa. They recently graduated with a master’s degree from the Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence, where they were part of the research studio “Temps Réel”.
