About the Artist

Mabel Cota, originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa, is a performer and stage artist. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from the University of the Americas Puebla.

Her artistic focus is on contemporary dance, improvisation, video dance, and the exploration of movement from a sensory and emotional perspective. She finds inspiration in everyday experiences, nature, and the search for a deep connection between body and mind, which guides both her personal practice and her stage work.
