Angelica Urquizo is a poet and collage artist who seeks magic in the mundane. She often finds inspiration from the natural world, mythology, shadow work, and the overall human experience. Playing in the intersections of genre, format, and material, she hopes to further explore her expression in both textual and tactile forms. She is earning her MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics at the University of Washington Bothell and has publications in Silly Goose Press, Genrepunk, and Suburban Witchcraft, among others.
